The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority\xe2\x80\x99s Customer Relations Branch is seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter with a customer-centric mindset to join its team as a permanent full-time Account Representative.This role reports to the Account Manager, Customer Relations and serves as the primary point of contact for their portfolio of approximately 150-200 small to medium-sized SLGA wholesale customers. As an Account Representative, you\xe2\x80\x99ll be the key contact for all programs, products, and services that SLGA offers to its customers. You\xe2\x80\x99ll assist both brand new and established liquor retail stores with online ordering, SLGA website navigation, product selection, merchandising, marketing, pricing, and policy to help them establish a successful business. Job Duties
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with portfolio of wholesale customers.
  • Maintain customer contact profiles and ensure customer change requests are processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain KPI tracking/reporting for own portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare reports of sales and service metrics for portfolio of clients.
  • Play a key role in the administration and maintenance of the customer claims processes.
  • Assist customers in product selection, pricing and forecasting.
  • Manage customer complaints and conflicts in an effective manner with the understanding to elevate when required.
  • Oversee payment and collections of outstanding accounts of customers in portfolio.
  • Provide backfill support to SLGA\xe2\x80\x99s order desk completing customer orders, allocations and other duties as required.
  • Support the Customer Relations team in any capacity that may be required.
Required Technical/Qualifications
  • A degree or diploma in business administration, commerce or other related field supplemented by relevant work experience.
  • Experience opening and maintaining new business accounts, issues management and building customer relationships would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with superior issue management skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with Power BI would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of beverage alcohol products and categories along with the characteristics and uses of beverage alcohol products is an asset.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising strategies and/or marketing strategies and tactics would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, acts, terms and conditions, agreements, codes, policies and/or procedures related to the Government of Saskatchewan or SLGA is an asset.
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete their Serve it Right Saskatchewan certification within 30 days of resumption.
  • Must hold a valid class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
Working Conditions
The work period for an Account Representative is unregulated within any working day or series of working days. This consists of 224 hours with 2 earned days off in a 6-week period. These working hours will not exceed 12 hours in a day or more than 6 days in a calendar week. An Account Representative is required to travel within the province using a Central Vehicle Agency-provided vehicle, this travel may account for up to 25% of your working hours. Overnight stays are occasionally required.To Apply
