Position Summary: This course introduces students to basic computer and digital media concepts in hardware, software, and networking. Widely used applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation, and web development software are studied and students are introduced to their academic portfolio platform as they learn how to manage digital media files across multiple platforms in order to create and maintain a professional portfolio.

Qualifications - Required: Undergraduate Degree or Diploma

Qualifications - Other:

• Two or more years experience teaching at the college or university level
• Two or more years experience teaching computer applications in a Mac Lab
• Experience teaching Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook andPowerPoint (all for the Mac)
• Experience teaching Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience teaching with MyLearningSpace or other online learning applications
• Experience creating online design portfolios
• Experience in Macintosh troubleshooting and maintenance is an asset

Salary: $9025.89 (Stipend)
