Utility Meter Reader
Job Description
As a Utility Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading and recording utility meter data on a daily basis. The position involves working independently, as well as working outdoors in various weather conditions. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys long walks and exercise. Routes average 5-6 hours, and once you start seeing routes over, your times will decrease.
successful candidate needs to be able to walk 10-25 kms and has a reliable vehcile
$140 per route. Extra routes available during the week for those who wish to do a route and a half per day.
Full timers that pick up weekend work will get $50 premium on top of the $140 per route
REQUIREMENTS
valid drivers license and access to/own a vehicle
criminal background check
comfortable working outdoors in all weather
able to navigate to various locations within York Region
