Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Travelling to specific job locations
Fill out appropriate pre-job safety documentation
Read and analyze maps/prints and drawings to determine possible buried utilities within ground disturbance work areas
Safely locate any buried utilities found within the ground disturbance zone using specialized electronic equipment (training provided).
Mark utilities in a way that best suits the clients needs
Sweep area for any unknown utilities
Document findings and pass information to client
Return to base, clean vehicle, and restock materials for the next days work
Experience:
- Previous experience in utility locating is preferred but not required

- General knowledge of construction, utility industry and ground disturbance practices is beneficial

Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry up to 35lbs
Must be able to walk long distances at a time
Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers license
Must have CSA Steel toed boots (all other safety gear provided)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
