The Town of Inuvik is seeking an experienced and dedicated Utilidor Technician to join our team. As a Utilidor Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and functionality of our Utilidor System, which provides essential water and wastewater services to the entire town.

Skills:



The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

Previous work in water treatment plants or wastewater facilities, including operational and maintenance roles preferred Knowledge of water and sanitation systems, sampling techniques, and inspection procedures Understanding of the function and operation of pumps, valves, and associated systems within water and wastewater infrastructure Able to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate operational requirements Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment, as well as independently when required Effective decision-making capabilities in various situations
The successful candidate must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record check.

This position offers a competitive salary range of approx. $75,462.40 and $99,320.00 per annum, with an additional Northern Living Allowance of $14,699.00 per annum.
