Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and analyze user research initiatives including interviews, surveys, usability testing, A/B testing, and field studies to gather actionable insights. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, front-end developers, and data analysts to translate research findings into clear product requirements and design improvements. Develop detailed personas, user journeys, wireframes, and prototypes that reflect user needs and behaviors using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, or InVision. Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify industry best practices in UX/UI design and usability standards. Utilize web analytics tools like Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, and Hotjar to monitor user interactions and measure the effectiveness of design changes. Advocate for accessibility standards such as web accessibility guidelines (WCAG) ensuring inclusive experiences for all users. Facilitate design thinking workshops and stakeholder presentations to communicate research insights effectively. Support agile product development cycles by integrating user feedback into iterative sprints and contributing to the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Assist in defining information architecture, interaction design patterns, and layout strategies that enhance overall user experience across multiple devices including mobile applications and responsive web designs. Employ data visualization techniques to present complex research data clearly for cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Proven experience conducting user research within digital environments--websites, mobile applications, or e-commerce platforms--preferably in an agile setting. Strong understanding of front-end development principles including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular is highly desirable. Proficiency with UX/UI design tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Axure RP, Balsamiq, Zeplin or similar software for wireframing and prototyping. Knowledge of analytics platforms including Google Analytics 360, Adobe Analytics, Omniture or equivalent for data analysis and insights extraction. Familiarity with usability testing methods including remote testing tools like Qualtrics or UserTesting.com; experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes preferred. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret quantitative data from SQL databases or web analytics tools alongside qualitative research findings. Experience working within Agile methodologies with tools such as Jira or Trello; understanding of SDLC processes is essential. Excellent communication skills capable of translating complex research findings into clear recommendations for diverse audiences. Knowledge of information architecture principles, interaction design patterns, motion graphics (Adobe After Effects), responsive web design best practices, and web accessibility standards is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Computer Science or related field; advanced certifications in UX research are advantageous.
