St. Albert Dodge is looking for a Used Automotive Technician in St. Albert, Alberta!

We are adding a Used Automotive Technician to our team at St. Albert Dodge/ The right candidate will be customer focused, and be seeking a long-term position. We offer an industry leading and very competitive compensation package with a strong base, benefits, vacation package, and performance incentives!
Compensation: $90K-125K or more per year, depending on your capability!
Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.

• Inspect and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment on pre-owned, and customer vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.

• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.

• Must perform thorough, precise, and accurate inspections with photos and detailed notes in our electronic system on every job. We pay you for your inspection time - we want it done right on every vehicle.
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.

• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman Red Seal certification
• 4 years minimum experience in the industry.
• Strong Automotive Background

• Must be willing to diagnose at least 80% of your own jobs, including routine mechanical and electrical problems.
• First Aid and WHMIS an asset
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Hold a valid driver's license with clean abstract
• Working knowledge of shop equipment
• Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment
