Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math & Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for math/science and foster critical thinking skills through engaging lessons and innovative teaching methods. This position involves teaching various levels of science, from grade 6 to 12, AP chem, AP bio, AP physics, and various math & science contests.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach mathematical concepts in a clear and engaging manner, adapting instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and tests, providing constructive feedback. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics. CHEM. Bio, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Previous experience teaching science, math/AP phy/bio/chem and science contests

Ability to teach in English

Ability to drive to Vancouver or Richmond

Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively to students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with students and staff. A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,600.00-$60,000.00 per year
