Today we are one of North Americas leading apparel retailers operating over 600 stores across Canada and the United States under the following banners: Stitches, Urban Planet, Urban Behavior, Sirens, Urban Kids, Suzy Shier, Bluenotes, West 49, Amnesia, Mandee and Charlotte Russe.Our Opportunity: In-Store Visual MerchandiserObjective:Maximize sales productivity through effective implementation of visual presentation strategies.Duties:\xc2\xb7 Executes floor plans and implements visual merchandise presentation strategies to positively impact the stores sales\xc2\xb7 Assists with checking in and processing shipments\xc2\xb7 Ensures promotional set-ups and proper signage are implemented within a timely manner to company standard\xc2\xb7 Assists with and ensures proper execution of all markdowns\xc2\xb7 Partners with the visual and operations departments to ensure that the operational objectives of the store are being achieved and exceeded\xc2\xb7 Ensures store is tidy and organizedSkills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 1-3 years of Visual Merchandising experience preferred\xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills\xc2\xb7 Strong merchandising and presentation skills\xc2\xb7 Strong fashion sense\xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently and produce quality workYM Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from qualified individuals.
