Ideal Interiors & Upholstery Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Upholstery Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in re-upholstery, with the ability to handle various types of furniture, fabrics, and materials.

Responsibilities:

Perform re-upholstery work on a wide range of furniture pieces, including sofas, chairs, and custom designs. Cut and sew fabrics and materials with precision, following measurements, templates, and design specifications. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently (e.g., staple guns, sewing machines, saws, drills). Perform minor furniture repairs and frame adjustments as required. Lift and move heavy furniture items during the upholstery process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely project completion and quality assurance.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in upholstery or re-upholstery is required. Cut and sew experience strongly preferred. Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools. Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and finishing quality. Physically capable of lifting heavy furniture and working in a hands-on environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
