Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Upholsterer. This role is essential in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years' experience with various tools and machinery, including knowledge in automotive interior,leather,plastic, rattan/rotin, vinyl and canvas. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment. We offer $36.00 an hour, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Discuss upholstery fabric, color and style with customers. Replace worn-out webbing, springs and other furniture parts. Lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholstery. Tack, glue or sew ornamental trim, braids or buttons. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand. Garnish the bottom and the back of the seat with interoven rattan. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
