Overview
Rideau Ferry Country Home is a warm and supportive retirement residence dedicated to providing excellent care and a comfortable living environment for our residents. We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager with daily operations and resident care needs. Provide personal care and support to residents with dignity and compassion. Lead by example and support team members during shifts. Document resident care and promptly report changes in condition. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and coordination of care when required. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in retirement or long-term care. UCP training, PSW Certificate, or HCA certification preferred. Prior nursing experience is an asset. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain adaptable in a fast-paced setting. Compassionate, dependable, and committed to resident-centered care.
Schedule
Mondays through Fridays; 7:30am to 2:30pm.
Wage
Wage will be determined based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
