The Team:
Eleven Wealth was founded with the goal of reviving the personal, client-centric approach to wealth management. Our female-led investment team specializes in providing custom-tailored advice to professionals, business owners, and individuals undergoing major life transitions.
The opportunity:
Wellington-Altus is currently recruiting for an Unlicensed Associate to join Eleven Wealth in our Winnipeg Office.
Reporting to the Jessica Keus, the Unlicensed Associate will participate in a broad range of administrative and operational projects and tasks to support the efficient and successful operations of the team.
The Unlicensed Associate will act as a resource person for Associates and Advisors on the team, and will by completing administrative tasks, reporting, and account-related activities for the team.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as a general administrative and operational resource for Associates and Advisors (ex: printing statements, tax slips).
  • Acting as a main point of contact for our advisor as they look to execute their end-to-end marketing needs (including ads, brochures, newsletters, websites, and assistance with the social media team).
  • Completing administrative tasks related to account management such as preparing DocuSign information.
  • Preparing daily reports.
  • Providing information, where requested and approved by an Associate or Advisor, on the status of a client\xe2\x80\x99s account and provide account balances, quotes, and other marketing information.
  • Maintaining client files, ensuring that all documentation and notes are compliant with industry regulations.
  • Assisting in preparing advisors for client meetings, including preparation of account opening documentation, product research, etc.
  • Performing general administrative tasks (ex: prepare letters, client communication pieces, etc.).
  • Proactively staying informed and up to date regarding company policies and procedures and compliance updates.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar field of study.
  • A minimum of one years\xe2\x80\x99 industry experience, preferably in an administrative or operational capacity.
  • Completion of CSC and CPH considered an asset.
  • Registration as an IR or RR with IIROC considered an asset.
  • Successful completion of the LLQP considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to proactively organize and manage a high volume of time-sensitive tasks and work.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to independently manage complex administrative and financial tasks.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with excellent attention to detail to ensure financial and regulatory requirements are always adhered to.
  • A demonstrated, reliable work ethic with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • An ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and work requirements with the ability to navigate fluctuations in work volume to meet client and operational requirements.
  • An ability to maintain composure and communicate effectively in high-stress situations.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing extraordinary service to high-net-worth clients.
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with financial tools an asset.
