Part Time Custodians The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board maintains a pool of Part-Time Custodians. Applicants must be available to work on an on-call basis Monday to Friday for day-to-day casual assignments. Part-Time Custodians employed by the Board work a maximum of 32 hours per week or less and are required to travel to any school within the Boards geographic area (Windsor and Essex County). Shifts may vary from day to afternoon.



This position will perform all necessary cleaning duties in schools to include cleaning classrooms, washrooms/change rooms, hallways, stair wells, gymnasiums, and cafeterias throughout elementary and secondary schools. Tasks will include: emptying garbage, dry and wet mop floors, wipe surfaces (desks, tables, blackboards), wash toilets/showers, stock paper towels, toilet paper. In winter months work will include shoveling snow at school entrance / walk ways. During summer months work will include moving all furniture from rooms to perform thorough cleaning of walls, furniture, floors and lights.



Preference will be given to candidates with the following: Secondary school graduate or equivalent Recent, related work experience Basic computer knowledge Good communication and interpersonal skills Hold a valid Class G License and provide a satisfactory drivers abstract record Qualified applicants are invited to apply by visiting: https://wecdsb.simplication.com/ on or before 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025 .
