What it's like to be a Northbridge Associate Underwriting System Analyst




The Associate Underwriting Systems Analyst will assist in the maintenance of the underwriting rules and table within the underwriting workflow system. They will assist in the development of new tables and rules by creating and maintaining rate books and the automated rating function. Our Associate Underwriting System Analysts work closely for our Underwriting staff to train and support them on Underwriting Systems, in order to help them succeed in their roles. As a key member of the Underwriting process team this position assists the Underwriting System Analysts in determining system needs and requirements to enable the ongoing enhancement of the system.



Working in a collaborative team, there are opportunities to develop and create learning solutions for our Underwriting teams. There will also be ample time spent building out new initiatives and collaborating on different projects as priorities change. You will be well supported by a tight-knit team who will do everything to help you succeed in this role!

If you have



Post-secondary education with a focus in computer science, math or business. Minimum of 1- 2 years' experience in process or rate automation or as a business analyst. Working knowledge of internal business operations, operational procedures, workflow and processing functions. Knowledge of insurance trends, developments, current standards, philosophies, and federal and provincial/local laws and regulations. Working towards a CIP/FCIP or Business Analyst designation is an asset.
