We are looking for a Group Insurance Underwriting Assistant
The Group Underwriting department is responsible for assessing the risk and making decisions associated with the sale of an employer benefits plan, amendments to that plan and the annual renewal of the plan. And, at times, provide annual financial reports to clients about their plan.
The Underwriting Assistant supports Group Underwriters and Analysts primarily with manual rate calculations at renewal and amendment requests, plus maintains premium rates on Canada Life billing systems. Manual rates are the first step in plan pricing and from which risk is determined.
We will provide successful candidates with a potential career path to move career levels and roles within the department.
