Underwriter - Contract

Tradition Mutual Insurance Company (TMI) is seeking applicants for the role of Underwriter for a 13-month contract to cover parental leave. This is a full-time position with a flexible hybrid work environment.

You will:

Be responsible for accepting, rejecting and amending residential and farm new business, renewals and endorsements

Apply underwriting judgement while following company policies and reinsurance requirements

Maintain accurate documentation

Work with a team of Insurance Professionals who will support your continuous learning

Qualifications:

Provide excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills

Computer/data entry skills

Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Superior interpersonal skills

Prior Insurance experience

Salary Range - $40,000- $60,000 depending on experience
