Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Lois Hole Hospital for Women.
Working closely with the Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator(s) and under the supervision of the Academic Department Manager, this position is one of two roles that support the Undergraduate Medical Education (UGME) within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. This position plays a key administrative role in delivering the OBGYN 546 core curriculum and coordinating electives for medical students across all years. The UGME Administrator is also the primary contact for medical students and stakeholders, providing operational support across rotations, assessments, onboarding, event coordination, and communications.
Responsibilities:

  • Support students, faculty and staff with all aspects of the delivery of the program, including but not limited to accommodation requests, records management, meeting preparation and scheduling.
  • Work with physicians to support all aspects of the student electives, including; scheduling, orientation preparation, and coordination of rotations.
  • Maintain accurate records management of all accreditation-related data and documentation, including the Input and maintenance of information in the Canadian Accreditation Management System (CanAMS).
  • Support the organization and facilitation of learner and physician orientations.
  • Coordinate and administer OSCE and written exams for medical students.
  • Coordinate annual core rotations across hospital sites.
  • Collaborate with department support staff and provide general administrative assistance across the education portfolio.
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in Education)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in post-secondary education programs support
  • Experience working with Google Suite, MedSIS, Dash
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills; accuracy and attention to detail
  • Highly developed organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
  • High level of tact and discretion; must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Strong client service attitude
