Job Description


We are looking for a UI/UX Designer for a 12-month contract position in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Hybrid schedule, at least 4 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a UI/UX Designer to join our client's team and lead the development of an engaging and intuitive user experience for digital products. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with developers to implement designs. In this role, you will also leverage your experience in testing and optimizing UI components, working with both internal and external designers, and providing UX methodology guidance.Responsibilities

  • Investigate and analyze user experience design requirements for digital assets
  • Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy
  • Produce high quality UX design solutions thorough wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps and prototypes
  • Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs and widgets
  • Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows and target links for landing pages
  • Collaborate with internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for digital users
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX methodologies and testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior
  • Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand- ups and retrospectives
Required Skills and Experience
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting for medium to large size projects including budgeting, cost tracking and cost control
  • Proven experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects or one large complex project including project performance management, requirements, solution design, developing and testing
  • Previous experience and thorough knowledge in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodology
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing and holding third party vendors accountable
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
  • Certification in People Change Management (e.g. Prosci) is considered a plus
  • Additional certification in Agile, Scrum, Kanban or something similar is considered a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or Telecom is preferred
