About the Role
We're seeking a UI Software Engineer
Your job will be to architect and build the systems which allow our team of artists and designers to shine with a focus on performance and iteration speed.
The UI team is uniquely poised to have a huge impact on our projects. We are often the driving force behind large features both in the frontend and in gameplay. We are a diverse set of developers with backgrounds in web VR mobile and games both competitive and casual brought together by a shared passion for delivering unparalleled user experiences!

Required Skills & Experience
Software engineering experience in video game development with coding C
Strong understanding of:
Match Flow & Gameplay Systems
Map Environmental Testing
Performance & Stability Testing
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Familiarity with proprietary tools and willingness to learn new pipelines.
Experience with bug tracking and test planning tools.
BSc. degree or equivalent experience/education.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Unreal Engine.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Perforce, SharePoint.
Adaptable teaching skills for diverse learners.
Shipped professional game projects.
Used Unreal Engine and Unreal Motion Graphics.
Built UI for games.
Obsessed with the player experience.
Environment:
Hybrid Full Time Role
Remote: Monday and Friday
Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Vancouver, BC. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr. Workplace Type
