Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment and promoting the academic and personal growth of students. This role requires a strong commitment to curriculum development, effective classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. The Educator will work with children of various ages, including preschoolers and adults, ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with educational standards and cater to different learning styles. English and French. Manage classroom dynamics effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Provide tutoring and additional support to students who require extra assistance in their studies. Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to meet individual needs. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and address any concerns. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, with a strong background in curriculum development. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for engaging students effectively. Experience working with children in various settings, including early childhood education or special education environments. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to plan lessons that are creative, informative, and tailored to the needs of diverse learners. A background in adult education or childcare is a plus, as well as experience in preschool settings or working with students of varying ages.
