We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong desire to help students succeed academically. The Tutor will work closely with students of different ages, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, tailored to each student's needs Develop customized lesson plans and educational materials to enhance understanding and engagement Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements Support students in developing study skills, organizational strategies, and academic goals

Experience

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching is highly preferred (Montessori Preferred) Experience working with children or in classroom settings is advantageous Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential Previous experience in educational environments or with specific curriculum standards is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week

Work Location: In person
