Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. We teach kids from grade K-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with the ability to communicate effectively with students of various ages. This role involves providing personalized instruction and support to help students achieve their academic goals, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.

Duties

Provide small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective learning strategies. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary to ensure understanding. Communicate regularly with directors regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes a love for learning. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance and progress notes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a classroom setting. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively. Experience working with children in an educational environment is highly desirable. Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students. A background in education or relevant subject area is preferred but not required. A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
