Duties

Design and implement customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals Ability to teach students between Grades 1-8. High school teaching ability is also an asset and will be considered in resume. Ability to teach French up until grade 8 is also an asset. Facilitate engaging tutoring sessions for children, adolescents, or adult learners across various subjects Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Requirements

Prior experience with tutoring, teaching, or classroom management in educational settings Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques Experience working with children, including preschool or early childhood education experience Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital instructional tools Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, including those with special education needs Excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate students Demonstrated experience working with students of varying ages, including adult education or childcare settings Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
