Job Description
Sylvan Learning Centre, the leading provider in supplemental education in London is looking for a part-time teacher for a satellite program in Stratford Ontario. Would you enjoy making a difference to a struggling student while honing your teaching skills? If so, Sylvan Learning is looking for someone like you to fill a part-time instructor position.
Responsibilities include:
Tutoring and motivating students. Maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating enthusiasm. Being dependable and reliable. Adhering to principles and techniques defined in training.
Requirements include:
Experience working with and teaching children, and a valid police background check. The candidate selected will be required to work at least two evenings per week, and preference will be given to those with a strong background in high school math.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Education:
Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
teaching: 1 year (preferred)
