Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team and provide educational support to our satellite program at the Oneida Education Office. The program is a for high school prep for students in grade 7 and 8, and is part of a partnership with the Oneida Education Authority. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve academic success and reach their full potential. Additional hours may be provided in centre at 346 Wonderland Road South.

Duties

- Educate and assist students in specifically English and Math, but additional subjects area bonus
- Tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Utilize effective tutoring strategies to enhance comprehension

Requirements

- Must have access to a vehicle and be able to drive in all weather

- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information

-Adhering to principles and techniques defined in training.
- Previous tutoring experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles

Preference will be given to teachers who can teach high school English and Math.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
