Note: This position requires in-person sessions in the students' homes in the Joshua Creek area of Oakville. DO NOT APPLY if you are unable or unwilling to commit to in-person teaching in this area.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated private English tutor (Grades 5-12) to replace an outgoing tutor. This role has up to 6 hours a week available to the right candidate(s).

Duties
- Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions to students
- Create personalized learning plans based on students' needs
- Help students understand challenging concepts and improve their academic performance
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to track progress
- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students effectively

Qualifications

- Master's Degree or OCT required
- Experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to educate and inspire students
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and educational techniques

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour
