Overview

Tutorex is urgently seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable Tutor to assist students enrolled in a pharmacology course to prepare for their final exam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacology, teaching experience, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively. This role offers an opportunity to support student learning and academic success through personalized instruction and guidance. The tutor will work closely with students to enhance their understanding of pharmacological principles, facilitate learning using various educational technologies, and promote a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions focused on pharmacology course content Develop and adapt curriculum materials tailored to individual student needs Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and engagement Assist students with lesson planning, review, and comprehension of complex topics Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere conducive to learning

Skills

Strong knowledge of pharmacology principles and related sciences Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning Proficiency in learning technology platforms and digital educational tools Effective tutoring and teaching skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly Classroom management skills for both in-person and virtual environments Excellent communication skills to engage students of varying ages and backgrounds Ability to adapt instructional strategies based on individual student needs and learning styles
Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week
