Job Description
With Tutor Doctor, our tutors share our commitment to make a difference in the lives of every person we help for their education, academics, and life skills.
We are seeking part time contract tutors who are passionate to partner with us to help our students build confidence, support them on the road to success, and teach them how to have a positive relationship with learning.
We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable, knowledgeable tutors to travel to students' homes in their community or on-line for one-on-one tutoring in the following subjects:
Elementary school - Math, Reading, Language, Science and French
Secondary school - All subjects incl Math, Science, Writing, French, etc
Along with teaching the subjects, tutors will also be assessing the student's knowledge and skills on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications:
Excellent subject matter experience
Previous tutor or teaching experience is an asset
Must have reliable transportation to tutor sessions in one-on-one tutoring
Must pass criminal background/vulnerable sector check
Personal skills:
Strong communication and organization
Time management, punctuality
Creativity
Problem solving
Love of learning and helping others

Education:
Secondary School (required)
Experience:
Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
