We are seeking a dedicated and patient Tutor to provide academic support and mentorship to students across various subjects. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for teaching, and experience working with children from
Elementary to High School

Duties
Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subject areas, tailored to students' individual needs.
Develop customized lesson plans and learning strategies to enhance understanding and academic performance.
Assess students' progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain organized records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements.
Assist students in developing study skills, time management, and exam preparation techniques.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education (completed or in progress)
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching with K - Gr 12 students.
Strong knowledge of the subject matter relevant to the tutoring areas.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
Experience working in classroom settings or educational environments is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds.
Reliable, responsible, and committed to fostering a positive learning experience.
Prior experience working with children is highly desirable. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about education and helping students succeed through personalized instruction and mentorship.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 20 per week
