Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring French Immersion, with the ability to effectively educate and communicate with children of various ages. This role is essential in helping students achieve their academic goals and fostering a love for learning. A teaching certificate is an asset. Transportation is essential.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop personalized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to enhance understanding. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Utilize various teaching resources and techniques to accommodate different learning styles. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Qualifications

Previous experience in tutoring or classroom settings is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to educate children in a clear, concise manner while fostering an encouraging atmosphere. Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed academically. A commitment to continuous professional development in educational practices. Familiarity with various educational tools and technologies is a plus.
