Harris Brand Edu. is a dynamic educational organization committed to empowering Black students through culturally responsive and community-rooted learning experiences. We are currently seeking passionate, mobile, and flexible Black educators to join our team as Math and English Tutors.

About the Role

As a tutor with Harris Brand Edu., you will play a vital role in supporting academic excellence and confidence in Black students across the Peel Region. You'll work in-person with small to mid-size groups, delivering engaging and effective instruction in Math and English.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-person tutoring in Math and English to students in the Peel Region.
Travel to various locations within the region (mobility is essential).
Create a safe, inclusive, and affirming learning environment.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with families and program coordinators to support student success.
Qualifications

Must identify as Black and be passionate about serving Black communities.
Strong proficiency in Math and English (elementary to high school levels).
Experience teaching or tutoring in small to mid-size classroom settings.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Peel Region.
Flexible availability (evenings and weekends preferred). Must be available by 3pm on weekdays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
