Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing control systems to meet Turnaround objectives.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement project control systems for Turnarounds - Oil and Gas.

Develop and maintain fit-for-purpose practices, procedures, and tools based on project control best practices to guide the consistent delivery of Project Control services across turnarounds.

Provides analysis that includes assisting with the creation of work breakdown structures including budgets, tracking of invoicing milestones, reviewing invoice charges and backup, forecasting and monitors project cash flow.

Engage in readiness assessments to identify opportunities and risks so that they can be mitigated before execution.

Provide benchmarking support on events to better align performance and competitiveness.

Establishes methods/procedures and cadence of reporting of project control outcomes related to cost analysis, scope control and trending, contributing to informed decision making.

Qualifications:

Mimimum 5 years of Industrial Turnaround/Shutdown related work experience

Experience with SAP and P6

Strong PC-based application skills such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Power-Point)

Excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to communicate financial data

Excellent customer service

Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team
