The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable
Tumbling Coach
to join our teaching team for the 2025-2026 season (September-June). This is a rewarding opportunity for an instructor with a background in gymnastics, acro, cheer, or pom dance who is passionate about youth development and committed to teaching proper progressions with safety, creativity, and encouragement.
Responsibilities
Teach engaging and safe tumbling classes to students ages 3-19, ranging from beginners to advanced.
Develop and implement progressive lesson plans that build strength, flexibility, coordination, and tumbling technique.
Ensure a safe learning environment by teaching correct spotting methods, progressions, and injury-prevention practices.
Encourage and motivate students by fostering confidence, teamwork, perseverance, and a positive class culture.
Communicate regularly with parents, students, and staff to support student growth and success.
Collaborate with other faculty to uphold Limelight's high standards of teaching, professionalism, and inclusivity.
Opportunity to participate in ongoing training opportunities, including
Acrobatic Arts certification
.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience teaching tumbling, gymnastics, acro, cheer, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of progressions, spotting techniques, and safety practices.
Ability to adapt instruction to various ages and learning styles.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Criminal Record Check required prior to start date.
Excellent communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude with a passion for working with children and teens.

Hours & Pay:
$25-$45 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
