The Trailer and Truck Salesperson is responsible for researching and executing strategies to enhance company profitability through equipment sales and cross promotion of all departments.
Responsibilities:
Identify and target potential customers through networking, cold calling, and following up on leads.
Present, demonstrate, and sell equipment and financing
Use the Parts and Service departments as partner.
Meet sales quotas - monthly and yearly
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on all sales to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales activities entered into CRM.
Product Knowledge:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's equipment offerings and industry trends.
Understand and communicate the technical aspects and benefits of the equipment to customers.
Key Performance Indicators:
Monthly sales Target: minimum 6 units
Weekly sales report at Sales Meeting along with full contact information and conversations
Customer complaints are minimal and resolved quickly
Quality of paperwork and reports
Education Requirements:
Courses related to the sales industry
Annual AMVIC License (paid by salesperson)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Proven experience in equipment sales or a related field
Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience preferred
Communicate well and create results
Identify and qualify key sales accounts
Must be detail oriented, organized, determined, ambitious, and a team player
Strong computer skills desired
Ability to travel regularly
