Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all regulations. As an Owner Operator, you will utilize your own vehicle to deliver goods, providing exceptional service to our clients and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate Super B's and B trains to transport freight across designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery schedules. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on your vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Utilize forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading cargo at various locations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and safety practices. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred. Basic skills in automotive repair to address minor issues that may arise during operations. Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.

Pay: Up to $150,000.00 per year
