Overview

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues in various Truck and trailer equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Automotive Mechanic will work with a range of tools and machinery, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Truck and Trailer. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations. Diagnose mechanical issues by reviewing schematics and conducting thorough inspections. Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot electrical systems within vehicles. Operate heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs clearly to clients. Assist in the assembly of new machinery or equipment as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair principles. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with HVAC systems, welding techniques, and industrial equipment is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery safely. Experience working with forklifts and other heavy equipment is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction and teamwork. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to mechanics or heavy equipment operation are beneficial. Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
