Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and clamp trucks to efficiently move, load, and unload stone slabs within our distribution center to clients truck. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and experience with warehouse management systems. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Delivering and receiving from us to client's workshop or in between warehouse and job site.

Duties

Warehouse Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to handle various materials Load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas with precision and care Assist with order picking using warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns Organize inventory by stacking, arranging, and relocating products within the warehouse Perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy Heavy lifting of materials as required (up to 50lbs), following safety protocols at all times Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience operating truck, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment Mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory control Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory management Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking Experience with order picker operation is a plus Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation in a warehouse setting Valid certification or license for forklift operation preferred but not mandatory depending on local regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
