We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while managing your own vehicle. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to our logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle for transporting freight. Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Manage loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklift operation as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as required.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight logistics. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Experience with forklift operation is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
