Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight and goods across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and efficient delivery. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued. The Truck Driver will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and goods to designated locations Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and freight documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties Assist with warehouse operations, including freight handling and inventory management when required

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred Knowledge of automotive repair or basic vehicle maintenance is a plus Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
