We're seeking an experienced
Truck Driver and Operator
to support our commercial and residential demolition and deconstruction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safely operating and maintaining trucks and related equipment while ensuring efficient material transport. All candidates must be willing to assist the team onsite when needed, including loading/unloading materials and working with tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate company trucks to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
Safely load, secure, and unload materials, including salvaged items for recycling or reuse
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Assist onsite teams with demolition/deconstruction tasks as required
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company procedures
Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to meet delivery schedules
Maintain accurate delivery logs and related documentation
Report vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate servicing
Support material salvage operations and landfill diversion efforts
What We're Looking For:
Previous demolition, construction, or general labour experience (preferred but not required)
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work in dusty/noisy environments
Punctual, team-oriented, and willing to learn
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of truck driving experience in construction, demolition, or related industriesValid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
Experience with securing and transporting heavy loads
Ability to operate tools and assist with physical onsite workStrong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Competitive Qualification:
Valid Class 1 or Class 3 driver's licence
