Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and safety protocols. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle operation and customer service.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques for basic maintenance. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including forklifts. Ability to manage freight handling efficiently while ensuring the safety of cargo. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road.
