Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the Trucking Division Manager, the Heavy Hauler will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of semi tractors and large trailers to transport various equipment, parts, and materials locally and throughout Saskatchewan.

- Position is working out of Saskatoon, ranging from home every night to home twice a week

- Working Monday to Friday with occasional weekends required

- 8 - 15 hours per day

Summary of the duties

Operate company trucks, trailers, and cargo & load/unload equipment in accordance to PBN policies, Client policies, SGI safety standards, and relevant legislation, policies, and procedures;

Have an understanding of roadside equipment repairs;

Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on various heavy trucks and trailers; including greasing and preventative maintenance;

Equipment is to be left in a clean state at the end of every shift, including the removal of garbage & personal belongings from the cab;

Must have extensive experience in safe strapping/chaining down of various equipment;

Advise the Trucking Manager of any requirements for equipment maintenance or repairs in a timely manner;

Professionally represent PBN on site and maintain a strong relationship with all client(s);

Ensure that all activities conform to government regulations, PBN and client standards, and that safe operating practices are established and used by all personnel, in conjunction with PBN Safety Officer;

Ensure that your timecards, pre-use inspections and daily internal logs are completed in an accurate and timely manner each day;

Maintain compliance with government log books;

Practice workplace safety both on site and on route.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
