Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner from BC to AB. Transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
