Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and heavy equipment operation. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and efficient manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving and transportation of goods. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment. Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Pay: $29.00-$31.00 per hour
