Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to the main location. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight across designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition. Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on vehicles as needed to ensure optimal performance. Operate heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading cargo at various locations.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid DZ License. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and logistics operations is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus. Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is advantageous for maintaining vehicle functionality. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to transportation and freight management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
