We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Duties

Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, and roll-off truck. Load and unload freight securely to ensure safe transportation. Navigate routes effectively while adhering to delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status, road conditions, and any issues encountered during transport. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.

Skills

Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles. Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus. Strong background in truck driving with a focus on commercial driving standards. Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques. Ability to operate forklifts for loading purposes when necessary. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Knowledge of route driving techniques to optimize delivery efficiency.
