Our Truck Drivers are the vital link to our Dealers and their stores - providing a valuable connection that ensures we deliver the industry-leading home improvement experience our customers expect. Led by the Supervisor, Dispatch, this opportunity will suit someone who is an experienced truck driver with a track record of delivering on time, safely, and with a customer-oriented mindset.

Ready to make an impact? Here's how:

Carry out deliveries and pickups throughout Manitoba and Ontario. Building relationships with our independent Dealers as an ambassador for Home Hardware Stores Limited. Load Dealer returns for transport to the Distribution Centre. Comply with all government regulations pertaining to the Highway Traffic Act, Labour Canada, National Safety Code, and all regulations described in the professional Driver's Manual. Communicates with Dispatch as required. Complete and deliver all necessary paperwork for the dispatch office and receiving office. Uses on-board technology as required for the job. Operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and inspecting the vehicle and trailer to ensure safe operating conditions. Document and report any technical or maintenance problems to Dispatch. Fuel and wash truck.

We're looking for:

Class 1 driver's license with Q Endorsement with a clean Driver's Abstract and CVOR. High school diploma. Mountain driving experience. Minimum 2-3 years of similar experience preferred with a good safety record. B-Train Experience would be considered an asset. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Superior customer service and communication skills
