Position Summary



The Truck Driver is a key member of the manufacturing and logistics team, responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of molds, mold components, and materials to and from company facilities, suppliers, and customers. This is a full-time position offering a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a leading mold manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:



Safely pick up and deliver products, materials, and supplies between company sites, vendors, and clients. Transport and deliver molds and mold components locally and across the border (Canada - US.) if applicable. Gather, prepare, and verify all required shipping and customs documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Record and submit time allocations and job details for each delivery or assignment. Load and unload trucks or transports as required, maintaining safety and care of all items. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair needs promptly. Communicate effectively with the Manufacturing and Logistics teams to coordinate schedules and resolve issues. Adhere to all safety, transportation, and quality control standards established by the company and regulatory bodies.

Required Qualifications:



Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Valid DZ Class Driver's License. Clean MTO abstract with no major infractions. Possess current USDOT medical certificate. Able to provide Police Clearance and obtain a FAST Card for cross-border operations. Proven experience driving cross-border routes (Canada - U.S.) is preferred. Knowledge of transportation safety and cross-border documentation requirements. Experience operating flatbed trucks, including proper load securing and tarping procedures. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in mold manufacturing or handling industrial equipment is an asset.

Working Environment:



Work performed in both indoor and outdoor environments Manual handling required for loading and unloading materials Use of PPE as required.
