Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Part-Time Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and compliance with all driving regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a commercial truck in accordance with all provincial and federal regulations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly Ensure secure loading, transportation, and unloading of goods Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers Maintain accurate records, including logs and delivery documentation Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of
3 years of commercial driving experience
Valid commercial driver's license with aclean and safe driving record
CVOR driver's abstract
required If previously employed as a commercial driver, aletter of experience from the previous employer's insurance company
is required Ability tospeak and understand English fluently
Strong communication skills and a professional attitude Demonstrated commitment to safety and complianceAssets:
Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) Experience working in warehouse or distribution environments
Work Environment:
Combination of driving and light warehouse interaction Adherence to safety standards at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
